The agreement between OFSTED and IBE was signed in October 2011 on the initiative of IBE History Section. IBE is looking forward to participating in European and worldwide history education research projects as well as to joint development of history teaching tools where the extensive expertise of OFSTED may prove to be an invaluable asset.
Forthcoming cooperation will include study visits and collaborative projects in the field of history education taking into account the rich historical background of Poland and the UK.
In October 2011 “European research on quality in school education” seminar was held in Warsaw, organised by IBE with Mr. Michael Maddison (Her Majesty's Inspector, Specialist Adviser for History in the UK) from OFSTED as the keynote speaker.

The agreement, signed between TUM and IBE in October 2010, covers cooperation in the field of educational research, particularly in educational studies, pedagogy, didactics as well as teacher training. The co-operation may involve joint projects, study visits and research studies as well as organisation of collaborative meetings such as the seminar “How to assess teacher competences” held in February 2012 in Warsaw, attended by Mr. Prenzel, Dean at TUM as the keynote speaker.
