INTERNATIONAL DATASETS
Datasets from individual study cycles, technical documentation, codebooks, and source versions of questionnaires, are available on the OECD SSES website.
For the SSES 2019 cycle, datasets containing the complete set of data (in STATA and SPSS formats) with the responses of students, their parents, school principals, and teachers from the participating countries and regions can be downloaded directly from the website. Questionnaires in various language versions are also available.
However, accessing the datasets from the SSES 2023 cycle requires completing a special form and obtaining approval from OECD. Individuals who are granted access receive datasets containing the responses of students, their parents, school principals, and teachers participating in the study, a database linking student responses with teacher responses, and a database that allows for the comparison of trends in student responses between the first and second cycle of SSES. All databases from this cycle of the study are provided in STATA, SPSS, and CSV formats.
