The User’s Guide provides basic information about the Polish Qualifications Framework (PQF), its structure and the manner in which level descriptors are organised and presented. The publication contains guidelines to assist in understanding and interpreting individual descriptors. The specific characteristics of successive PQF levels are discussed and examples are provided of selected learning outcomes and qualifications for the individual levels. The guide is intended to support persons who are involved in determining the level of qualifications. It will also be useful in the work of describing the required learning outcomes of a qualification and in developing sectoral qualifications frameworks – frameworks especially written by and for particular sectors and industries, which are referenced to the PQF.
