In the monograph “Error in didactics. Causes of its formation, its mechanisms, and didactic opportunities. Based on PISA survey tasks”, Krzysztof Biedrzycki, Marcin M. Chrzanowski and E. Barbara Ostrowska focus on error and its role in didactics. The authors assume that the problem in teaching is not the mistakes students make, but what is done with them in the teaching process.

The Educational Research Institute would like to invite you to a conference inaugurating the project ‘Shaping competences – from profile to practice – developing a graduate profile taking into account assumptions and concepts of necessary changes in general education’. The event will focus on the topic of competences of graduates of kindergartens and primary schools and the shaping of the future of education.

Polish 15-year-olds have a high position in the world in terms of creative thinking skills. Such skills were tested as an additional part of the PISA 2022 survey. The Educational Research Institute, responsible for conducting this survey in Poland, published a national report on the survey results. The survey was conducted in March and April of 2022.

The focus of the conference is a presentation of the latest trends, innovations and challenges facing the logistics industry. We will talk about qualifications, competences and opportunities of support available to logistics industry employers from the Educational Research Institute. We will also launch a discussion on cooperation between employers and the education sector and provide opportunities for networking.

Organised by the Educational Research Institute and the Ministry of Education, this conference brought together experts to discuss various aspects of the learning differences between girls and boys. We invite you to read the summary.
